Vehicle Safety Summit Conference Report Report by Jonathan Francsics on the May 2007 Vehicle Safety Summit held in London. The report includes recommendations for the Highways Agency concerning monitoring developments in eCall and in active and passive safety systems which have implications for the HA, through their benefits for safety and traffic flows.

Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure Systems Symposium Conference Report A report by Jonathan Francsics on the March 2007 meeting on CVIS (Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure Systems ) hosted by the Dutch research organisation TNO. CVIS is expected to have impacts on flows, safety and the environment. This event was aimed at raising the awareness of CVIS through presentations of prominent European developments in this field.
