The ‘NAV’ conference intends to bring together users and R&D specialists from all areas to discuss the evolution of navigation technology and practices.
The Conference will occupy two parallel sessions over the three days. Major applications to be covered in-depth include maritime, aerospace and ground vehicle navigation. Technology and infrastructure issues will be examined, including those concerning eLORAN, GNSS and other associated systems.
The conference is expected to cover topics including:
o eLORAN (terrestrial radio navigation system, independent of GPS)
o Road & Rail Applications
o Government, Emergency & Secure Applications
o GNSS Infrastructure
o High Performance GNSS
o Test Standards and Certification Issues Galileo
The event will be held at Church House, Westminster, London, over 28 to 30 October 2008. There will also be a number of associated training sessions on 27 October 2008, covering many aspects of eLORAN and GNSS.
