The European Road Federation (ERF) will be hosting the 3rd European Road Congress in Brussels on 25th June 2008, under the title “Making Roads Ready for the Future”. The congress will offer an overview of European road policy issues.

The second session of the conference, ‘Smarter Roads’, has an ITS theme with contributions on Galileo, a report on GIROADS and intelligent highways in Europe. The fourth session, ‘Fairer Roads’, has contributions on fairer charging for road use and the future of road tolls in Europe.
