This seminar on Interurban Traffic Incident Management aims at presenting European experiences related to information coordination and management of traffic incidents on interurban roads.

The focus will be on the legal, organisational and technical aspects of incident management. The agenda includes discussions on the future impact of eCall on the incident management process. There will be demonstrations of various tools for use in the control room and on the road, by traffic operators and others responding to incidents.  One of the speakers is from the Highways Agency.

The seminar is being organised by LISITT at the University of Valencia, and ESAM TECNOLOGÍA, a spin-off of the University of Valencia and will take place in Valencia over 16 – 17 June 2009.
